Today Digital Heavens announced the Pro Texture pack for the Cosmic Pack 2, To be released later this year.
To celebrate this announcement a new recourse is available – DARKORBIT – Darkorbit is a complete image with ALL the layers intact and has been made to demonstrate the new texture’s that come with the Pro Texture pack. You will be able to see how the image is put together and have a play around with adding your own elements to the image.

Oh, this pack/plug-in just ruined the fun of creating space scenes.
Where's all the fun when the computer creates everything for you? Absolutely everything for you.

Some artists need a helping hand when creating space art. It's the same as using stock images for nebulas and planets. The computer doesn’t do everything for you, the artist still needs to make the decisions on how the composition, planets and backgrounds will look.

That's true. But some artists will stick with this and won't learn anything new. For few things this could be good, but people shouldn't just stick with this forever.
